Meet THE TEAM
Neuro PT @ Home is run by Helen Pettemerides with help from her colleague Andrea Evans. Between them they have over 40 years personal training experience! They both hold the Level 4 Wright Foundation Qualification in Exercise for Long Term Neurological Conditions.
Helen
Helen also owns Pettemerides Personal Training in Batheaston where she has a client base consisting of men and women mostly over the age of 60. The majority of her clients have medical or neurological conditions.
Helen is able to provide structured exercise plans to improve strength and balance, and to manage the symptoms of any condition that a client may have. These exercises help to make everyday activities easier such as gardening and running around after the grandchildren!
Andrea
Andrea has been working alongside Helen at the gym for the past 3 years and also has a special interest in working with clients who have neurological conditions.
Andrea has previously worked for BNES on the exercise referral ‘passport to health’ scheme supporting clients with hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression and a variety of medical conditions. She also has experience in assisting with Parkinson’s classes as well as classes for people with balance issues and osteoarthritis.
Her client base, both at the gym and for home training consists of people living with Parkinson’s, spinal injuries and post stroke.
